Mission Trips
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” ~ 1 Peter 4:10
In the summer of 2025, several of our youth traveled to North Carolina
on a mission trip to help clean up the after the flood damage.

Before the trip, the kids prepared over 100 buckets of cleaning supplies to take to North Carolina.

At Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, mission work is more than a program—it is a way of life. It brings our congregation together, fuels our faith, and actively engages our youth in service. One of our proudest traditions is participating in annual mission trips with our NALC Mission District.
These trips are made possible through generous fundraising, especially our beloved annual fish fry, a community-wide event that everyone looks forward to year after year. Because of this strong support, every youth can attend at no personal cost. Financial barriers are removed, making room for every young person to experience the joy of serving others, growing in faith, and building lifelong friendships. These trips are often described as life-changing—not just for those we serve, but for the youth themselves.
