OUR VISION
Every day is a blessing from God and it is our goal to meet each new day ready to serve our Lord. The future is filled with the promise of God's presence and our work is still the same as those who have gone before us.
WHAT WE DO
Following the example of Jesus Christ and the Church that has gone before us; we work together to feed the hungry, care for the poor, visit the sick and in everything we do proclaim the good news that Christ has died, Christ is risen and Christ will come again.
OUR COMMUNITY
Serving as one body, we trust and believe that great things can happen in the name of Christ. We pray that through our work, by the power of the Holy Spirit, others may come to believe that God's gift of grace is for all.
HISTORY OF THE CHURCH
The Eagle Grove Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Congregation was founded on July 25, 1884. We began with 8 families and 1 single man. In ten years there were 70 families (and Ole Gunderson was married). We currently have 744 baptized children of God that call EGELC their church home. Over the years the congregation has been affiliated with several Lutheran denominations. Today we are proud to be a part of both the LCMC and NALC.
